Value guideline changes at the modern stage of Ukraine’s development have made the problem of humanistic oriented personality education urgent. Unfortunately, there are soullessness and egocentrism manifestations in society that do not contribute to the successful education of young citizens. This situation, as well as the need to comprehend scientifically the new tendencies in the education sphere, the role of pedagogy in the conceptual and theoretical provision of the state development, stipulate the importance of corresponding specialized periodical editions.
The collection of scientific works “Theoretical and Methodical Problems of Children and Youth Education” comprises scientific works of Ukrainian and foreign scientists, research students, teachers of higher educational establishments, pedagogues-practitioners, whose scientific search highlights modern approaches to the content, forms and methods of education.
The edition deals with theoretical projects, technologies of children and youth education, ways and means of improving the efficiency of their socialization and development.

The aim of the collection of scientific works “Theoretical and Methodical Problems of Children and Youth Education” is to reflect the results of theoretical and experimental psychological and pedagogical research in order to provide scientifically and methodically the educational process in educational establishments of different type and accreditation level, as well as in establishments of social protection and social services for children and youth.
The task of the edition is to accumulate and present the main national and foreign tendencies of education theory and methods development, contradictions of the modern education process, the main research results of different scientific schools.
